DESCRIPTION:Karen Varni \nKaren Varni is retired after 36 years with the County of Calaveras\, the last 20 of which were as the County Clerk-Recorder and Elections Official. This included being the Registrar of Voters\, Registrar of Vital Statistics\, Commissioner of Civil Marriages and Ex-Officio Clerk to the Board of Supervisors. Prior to being elected\, she served as the Clerk-Administrator of the Calaveras County Superior Court\, which also came with many other titles. \nKaren has two sons\, three grandsons\, and daughters-in-law that are the biggest and most important part of her life. Volunteering is something she started as a teenager and has continued as an adult. She has been a member of Soroptimist International of Calaveras County (SICC) for 31 years\, currently serving as President. \nKaren will update us about Soroptimist International in Calaveras County\, their current projects and future goals. \n  \nRound Table Pizza \n27 N Main St B \nAngels Camp\, CA 95222

DESCRIPTION:Margret Lawrence\nThis month’s speaker will be Margaret Lawrence\n“What’s preventing you from taking the next step in moving your business forward?” \nFor 25 years Margaret Lawrence worked in state government. It was a good job\, but she realized something was missing: passion for what she was doing. A friend introduced her to coaching and soon after she began a new journey in life. She started a 7-month coaching program including over 350 hours of instruction\, practice and coaching. In 2017 Margaret left her state job 3 months after she started the program\, it felt like coming home and she hasn’t looked back since. \nPlease join us.
